Oração judaica à Lua Nova

Curioso trecho no livro "Secrecy and deceit: the religion of the Crypto-Jews", de David Martin Gitlitz:

"This prayer for the New Moon was found in the Mogadouro region of Portugal in this century: May the Lord bless the moon and me, who are his creations; As the moon is yours in the heavens, may I be yours on earth. As I can see you, and not touch you (gesture with the hands toward the moon), may my enemies not be able to do me ill. "

Tradução:
" Esta oração para a lua nova foi encontrada na região de Mogadouro de Portugal neste século: Pode o senhor abençoar a mim e à lua, que são suas criações; como a lua é sua nos céus, pode ser sua na terra. Como eu te consigo ver, mas não te posso tocar (gesto de devoção com as mãos para a lua), podem meus inimigos não serem capazes de me fazer mal.

Nota: muito provavelmente será originária da comunidade Cripto-Judaica de Vilarinho dos Galegos.
